Welcome to MotoPhoto in Shaker Heights, a service of Photo Holdings Corporation. Other Photo Holdings services include ProEventPhoto, Photo-Organizing and PrintScans. My, how our business has changed and expanded over the years!
We are Rick Santich and Paula Smith. In 1989, when we opened as MotoPhoto in Shaker Heights, our primary business was film processing. Within a few months we added our first portrait studio. In 2002 we added our event division, ProEventPhoto. Since then, we’ve added PrintScans, Photo-Organizing and Prepaid Digital Prints.
On the Road at Your Events with ProEventPhoto
From school pictures, to sports team and action photography you will find ProEventPhoto. We take pictures on location at many events including hockey tournaments, figure skating competitions, golf outings, charitable galas and corporate events. We are the school pictures photographer for many area schools and early childhood centers. We take the team and individual pictures for many sports leagues. ProEventPhoto has become Northeast Ohio’s Premier Event Photographer.
In Our Portrait Studio
Our Portrait Studio has served families throughout Northeast Ohio specializing in fine high school senior, family and children’s portraiture. It is our goal to provide you with high quality, timeless images, which capture your family’s or child’s personality forever. You will receive portraits, which can be proudly displayed in your home and office, and can be shared to the delight of your relatives and friends.
We guarantee the quality of our portraiture and your experience in our studio. If, for some reason, you are not satisfied with our work, we will do whatever possible to correct the problem or offer you a full refund. This is our commitment to you.
At many other portrait studios, it can be like a factory and you are just another part being manufactured. At the MotoPhoto Portrait Studio in Shaker Heights, your appointment is just for you. Our experienced photographers are among the finest portrait photographers in the area. They are well known for their ability to work with all ages of children, from infants to great-grandparents. They excel in working with high school seniors. Their reputation has been built from their gift to capture the personalities of their subjects.
We believe that it is our responsibility to stop time for you. We want you to be able to remember today forever, because tomorrow will be different. That is what fine portraiture should do. That is what we are committed to doing for you at the MotoPhoto Portrait Studio in Shaker Heights.
In Our Lab
While we still process and print from film, our lab services have expanded to embrace digital photography and other evolving technologies. In store today, you will find our digital kiosks, at which you can review, crop, and enhance your images, and submit them for printing. With our PrepaidDigitalPrints cards, you even get to choose how much you want to pay for your digital prints. Don’t have time to visit the store? Our MOTOePics service allows you to send us your images from your home or office on your schedule.
Our in-house enlarging capabilities have, well, enlarged. We can print up to 24” wide by whatever, on a variety of surfaces, including canvas and an adhesive polyester .
We can help you deal with technology changes. We can convert your old videos from VHS tapes and other tape media to DVD. We can scan your old negatives, slides and prints and put the images on CD or DVD.
Have boxes of old pictures you would like to have scanned? Our print scanning services, PrintScans and PrintScans by the Pound service may be the right choice for you. Just purchase a PrintScans box and fill it with your prints. We’ll scan your prints and return them with a CD of your images. PrintScans boxes come in three sizes, so there is sure to be a right size for you.
Our retouching and restoration services allow us to create collages for your special occasions. We repair and restore priceless photographs, new and old.
In May 2009, we moved to 20116 Chagrin Blvd. Our store was designed to reflect the changing nature of our business. Our portrait studio is much more spacious. Our event staff is thrilled to have more work space. And we are all excited to continue to be part of the Shaker Heights community.
Whenever you think of pictures, think of us.
